Title of the Program: Leadership-Coaching Program

The Leadership - Coaching Program is a virtual 6-month course that will give you 60 Approved Coach Specific Training Hours (ACSTH) from the International Coach Federation (ICF).  This Teleseminar is held every week for 2 hours.  The 60 ACSTH Hours will qualify you for the ACC credential from ICF. An additional 65 hours will qualify you for the PCC credential from ICF. To reach the MCC credential you will need an additional 75 hours.

General Program Vision and Goal: 

Leadership-Coaching Program Vision:  The Vision is to provide ICF accredited Leadership – Coach training and ICF Coach renewal to Leadership Coaches and Leaders with a Coaching Style of Leadership using the ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, and Code of Conduct. 

Program Goal:  The Goal is the students’ completion of the course and to ultimately pass the ICF Coach Knowledge Assessment, complete the required coaching hours and to become an ICF Credentialed Coach.  Once the student is credentialed by the ICF our program provides ICF Renewal for ACC, PCC, and MCC.

List of Classes/modules/parts:

The program is through distance learning. There are 5 hours of observable coaching and 10 hours of coach mentoring with a Master Certified Coach, Dr. Carol A. Turner, who has 18 years experience as professional Leadership Team and Executive Coach.  Also, the Leadership - Coaching Program is approved by the ICF for 125 ACSTH hours of training.

There are 3 Parts to the program including Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced training.  All three parts must be completed to achieve the International Coach Certification at the Professional Coach Credential level. 

Partial completion will result in the ACSTH hours of completion, for example; 30 hours (Renewal), 60 hours (Associate Coach Certification) or up to 125 hours (Professional Coach Certification).

Learning Goals:

The Leadership - Coaching Program includes a synthesis of International Coach Federation  (ICF) ethical guidelines, standards of conduct, conflicts of interest, confidentiality and privacy, trust and intimacy and coaching presence.  

The ICF core competencies studied are Setting the Foundation, Co-creating the Relationship, Communicating Effectively, and Facilitating Learning and Results. 

Coaching Models/Philosophy Approach:

Literature reviews include professional leadership coaching, executive coaching, and team coaching.  The work of Carl Rogers (Self-Actualization), Stephen M. R. Covey (Trust), Martin Seligman (Positive Psychology), Laura Whitworth, et. al, Sandra Krebs Hirsh, (Co-Active Coaching) Peter Senge (Systems Thinking), MaryBeth O'Neill (Executive Coaching), Patrick Lencioni (Leadership and Organizational Health), Margaret Wheatley (Organizational behavior), Judith Glasser (Conversational Intelligence), and Gerard Egan (Skilled Helper Model) are some of the authors of literature that are studied in the Leadership - Coaching Program at the International Coach Institute.

How the Program is delivered:

The leadership-Coaching Program  and Renewal Program are distant learning classes offered twice a year beginning in September and March.  The program is offered on a weekly basis in 2-hour increments with virtual, instructor-led classes with web-cam platforms (Zoom and Go-to-meeting). There are 5 hours of observable coaching with feedback from the instructors and 10 hours of coach mentoring included with both programs.

Requirements students must meet to enter the program:

Students must have the time and the desire for life-long learning to not only earn their coaching credential through reading and practice, as well as being willing to share their leadership coaching style with their clients so that it will be passed on throughout their organizations.

Policies on Payment of Tuition and Fees:

The policies on payment include $300.00 deposit to hold a place in the class.

ICI-ICF Renewal Tuition:

The total due for the ICI – ICF Renewal is $1,200.00.  The duration is 3 months with a total class time of 30 hours (24 hours of Core Competencies/6 hours of Resources) and 10 hours of mentor coaching.  Payments are acceptable with approval. Paypal is accepted.

ICI Leadership-Coaching Program Tuition for ACC, PCC and MCC

The total due for the ICI Leadership Coaching Program for ACC is $3,990.00.  The duration is 6 months with a total class time of 60 hours (48 hours Core Competencies and 12 hours Resources) with 5 hours of observable coaching plus 10 hours of mentor coaching.  Payments are acceptable upon approval.  Paypal is accepted.

The total due for the ICI Leadership Coaching Program for PCC is an additional $1,200.00.  The duration is an additional 6 months with a total class time of 125 hours plus 10 hours of mentor coaching. Payments are acceptable upon approval.  Paypal is accepted.

The total due for the ICI Leadership Coaching Program for PCC is an additional $600.00.  The duration is an additional 3 months with a total class time of 200 hours plus 10 hours of mentor coaching.  Payments are acceptable upon approval.  Paypal is accepted.  

Policies on Withdrawals and Refunds:

A contract will be required to begin the class. If you decide to withdraw before you begin classes, your $300.00 deposit will be refunded.  If you begin the class and cannot complete your contracted hours, your payments will be adjusted to the amount of time you did attend.
